Polymer exports registered an increase in materials leaving UK shores during October across Europe and Asia, with 17,359 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 15,083 in September.
Key European destinations registered an upturn, with both Netherlands and Turkey seeing a marginal increase in materials received. In the Far East, Malaysia also registered an increase, double the tonnage compared to September.
