Pan-European recycling platform Repeats Group has invested in Dutch LDPE recycler Daly Plastics.

The investment in Daly, is part of Repeats’ strategy to create pan-European LDPE recycling. It has already invested in Spain and plans more expansion into other European countries later this year.

Based in the eastern part of the Netherlands near Apeldoorn, Daly Plastics uses a mechanical process to transform plastic from commercial, industrial and agricultural sources into a resin suitable for commercial and industrial applications.

Peter Daalder, who has worked for Daly for 35 years, will continue to lead the Dutch operations and expansion plans under Repeats.

Repeats chief executive Greg Rung said: “Daly Plastics has an outstanding reputation in the industry as a leading LDPE recycler in the Netherlands and Western Europe.

“We are thrilled to have Peter Daalder and his team join Repeats and look forward to building on their success to date. We see significant opportunity for Daly Plastics to continue to penetrate the Dutch and German markets while being able to serve more international clients thanks to higher-quality plastic flakes produced with the latest technology available.”

Repeats is owned by private equity firm Ara Partners.
