Recycling and waste management company SITA UK is to be rebranded under the Suez Environnment name.
As of now, SITA UK will become the Recycling & Waste Recovery UK division of SUEZ Envrironnement, with the changes to branding on vehicles and the company website taking place as part of a phased roll-out over the next couple of years.
With more than 40 different brands under the group worldwide, the Suez Environnement brand will now be used by them all.
Until now, the group’s activities had been organised under two key areas of recycling and waste. But the company will now focus on the sustainable management of resources through four main activities. These are:
- The recycling and reuse of waste
- The management of the extended water cycle
- Water treatment solutions
- Consulting services for sustainable urban and regional development.
Suez Environnement Recycling & Waste Recovery UK chief executive David Palmer-Jones said: “We are very pleased to join the other business within our global group in uniting under a single global brand today. The new positioning of our group places the circular economy at its heart and this is a concept that we, in the UK, have transformed our business around in recent years. This restructuring of our global brand will enable us to better meet our customers’ needs and to speak with one voice, alongside our colleagues across the group, on the sustainability challenges of the future.”
