Stability for metals market as LME shows only minor changes

Most metals barely moved on the LME yesterday, but Nickel saw a decent drop.

Three-month copper was up slightly to $7,470 (£4,783) on Tuesday from $7,400 (£4,756) on Monday.

Aluminium dropped a touch to $2,005 (£1,284) yesterday from $2,018 (£1,297) at the beginning of the week. Alloy was up to $1,920 (£1,229) on Tuesday from $1,900 (£1,220) on Monday.

Lead was down a tiny amount to $2,024 (£1,296) from $2,025 (£1,302) at the beginning of the week. Nickel saw a big drop down to $17,000 (£10,885) on Tuesday from $17,315 (£11,129) the day before.

Tin fell to $20,450 (£13,094) yesterday from Monday’s $20,550 (£13,209). Zinc was up slightly to $1,936 (£1,240) from $1,928 (£1,239) at the beginning of the week.

Steel was down to $510 (£327) from $520 (£334).
