Ward is looking for a charity partner for its WARDRobe textile recycling scheme

Midlands metals and waste management company Ward Recycling has moved into the textiles sector with the launch of the WARDRobe recycling scheme.

Initial collections stated last month and the company is now seeking a national charity partner to support the programme.

WARDRobe will provide a national collection service from clothing banks based on either direct payments or charity donations. The company hopes to export up to 10,000 tonnes of textiles a year via the service.

To support the textile recycling scheme, Ward has invested in a new 10,000 sq ft warehouse and a fleet of new collection vehicles.
