These are the latest HMRC export figures for September 2025 for PE-based plastics – commodity code 391510. Only destinations of more than 1,000 tonnes per month are included.
Polymer – Commodity code 391510
Polymer exports leaving the UK during September across Europe and Asia bounced back slightly compared to August, with 19,510 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 18,263 in August.
Turkey continued to remain the dominant destination of polymer exports and registered an increase in tonnes received in September, registering 7,910 tonnes compared to 6,954 tonnes in August.
Netherlands remained the dominant destination in Europe with 3,077 tonnes in September, which is a little down from 3,580 tonnes registered in August.
Other destinations continue to show a mixed picture.
