Sylvain Lhote has been named as the new director general of the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI).
From 5 September, he will take over from current acting director general Jori Ringman.
He is currently the vice-president governmental affairs in Europe for aluminium engineering group Alcoa.
CEPI chairman Peter Oswald said: “We are very pleased to welcome Sylvain Lhote on board and are sure his leadership and expertise will help CEPI reach ever higher levels of excellence.”
