Wiltshire company Futur has been rebranded as SAICA Natur UK.

This follows the acquisition of Future by Spanish paper group SAICA in November 2010.

SAICA Natur UK managing director Simon Dymoke said: “Since becoming part of SAICA, everybody has been working hard to integrate our UK business operations without disrupting the high standards of service to existing Futur customers.

“Everybody at Futur remain genuinely excited to be part of a strong and successful brand which now offers UK customers a complete packaging and recovery solution alongside our existing waste management services.”

SAICA now operates three business units in the UK. SAICA Paper is a world leader in the manufacture of recycled containerboard papers and is currently building a paper mill at Partington, near Manchester. SAICA Pack is the packaging division and operates 16 production facilities in the UK and Ireland and SAICA Natur is the group’s waste management division.

The company expects the recycled paper mill in Partington to open in early 2012 and will manufacture high-performance papers and packaging using 100 per cent recycled materials. It expects to handle 400,000 tonnes of material per year.
