Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service reported that fifteen fire engines were called to the blaze that began in one unit, and then spread to two others via recyclable material stored outside the first warehouse.

By yesterday, firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the original warehouse, but they still expect to be on site for the next 24 hours.

Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service group manager Mike Anderson said: “We are working with nearby haulage companies to allow them temporary access to their sites. However, premises immediately adjacent to the site will remain closed while we continue to tackle the incident.”
