OCC rises, plastic and non-ferrous metals fall

Paper saw an increase as OCC rose by £2, according to this week’s Intelligence report.  

ONP and mixed paper remained stable.

Plastics saw a decrease in price per tonne as PET and HDPE Natural 95/5 baled both fell by £20.  LDPE 98/2 saw no change in price. 

Ferrous metals such as HMS 1 declined by £15 per tonne. 

Non-ferrous metals decreased as copper was down by £200 and brass by £100. 

Aluminium remained unchanged.
