Key paper grades OCC and mixed paper continued to rise in price last week.
In the Intelligence report, published on Friday, OCC was up by a further £5 per tonne, while mixed paper increased by £3 per tonne.
Industry experts told the Intelligence report that we are now reaching record levels for these grades, and further price increases could be on the way.
In the plastics recycling sector, prices were stable but a £5 increase in the PRN price could start to have an impact on physical prices in the coming weeks.
Metal prices were stable.
