Polymer exports saw a slight decrease in materials leaving UK shores during April across Europe and Asia, with 19,134 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 21,549 in March.
The market on the whole remained steady. Germany registered a significant drop from 3,734 tonnes in March, compared to 1,428 tonnes registered in April. Otherwise, most destinations registered similar volumes month on month.
