Polymer exports leaving UK shores during February across Europe and Asia increased compared to January, with 20,528 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 17,111 in January.
Turkey remains the dominant destination of polymer exports and registered an increase in February, registering 5,804 tonnes compared to 5,094 tonnes in January.
Malaysia also saw a significant increase month on month with 2,448 tonnes registered in February, compared to 309 tonnes in January.
