These are the latest HMRC export figures for June 2025 for PE-based plastics – commodity code 391510. Only destinations of more than 1,000 tonnes per month are included.
Polymer – Commodity code 391510
Polymer exports leaving UK shores during June across Europe and Asia registered a marginal increase compared to May, with 24,665 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 22,945 in May.
Turkey continues to be the dominant destination of polymer exports and registered a slight decrease in tonnes received in June, registering 7,439 tonnes compared to 8,928 tonnes in April.
Malaysia registered a significant rise in materials received, with 5,322 tonnes in June, almost double the figure of 2,668 tonnes registered in May.
Other destinations continue to show a mixed picture.
