Polymer exports saw a slight increase in materials leaving UK shores during May across Europe and Asia, with 21,280 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 19,134 in April.
The market on the whole remained steady, although some destinations did see a decrease. Germany registered a drop from 3,734 tonnes in April, to 1,428 tonnes registered in May, while the Netherlands registered 4,682 tonnes in May, compared to 5,187 tonnes in April.
