The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) has appointed Simon Weston as director of raw materials.
He had more than 20 years experience in the paper and recycling industry, mostly at Smurfit Kappa. He was managing director of Smurfit Kappa Recycling until recently.
CPI director general David Workman said: “I am delighted that the CPI team has been further strengthened by Simon’s appointment. He brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience with him which will be put to good use in championing paper recycling in the UK.”
