Austrian technology firm Andritz has delivered an OCC line for a paper mill in Vietnam.
The plant was set up alongside a new reject treatment system at HKB-Hoa Lu Paper’s Nho Quan facility.
With a capacity of 500 tonnes per day, the OCC line will produce testliner and corrugated medium for the local and Chinese markets.
Andritz supplied equipment including the approach flow, fiber recovery and reject treatment systems as well as providing detailed engineering, supervising erection and commissioning and carrying out operation and maintenance support.
It says its technology ensures high efficiency and high final stock quality paired with excellent fibre properties.
HKB-Hoa Lu Paper vice chairman Ngo Huu Phuong said: “Thanks to the excellent cooperation between our team and Andritz, the line has started up successfully as scheduled.
“We expect this line will perform excellently and produce highly competitive products.”
HKB-Hoa Lu Paper Joint Stock Company was established in 2020 and focuses on the production of various board products.
