OCC up in otherwise stable recycling market

Prices were relatively stable in the recycling market last week as the lack of containers continued to dominate.

With exporters struggling to ship material, conversations tended to be about getting material away rather than the price.

However, OCC remained in demand increasing by £5 per tonne. Other paper grades remained stable.

In metals, copper grades were down by £25 per tonne, but other metals were unchanged.

Plastics prices also remained the same as the previous week.
