Paper and metal prices rose last week

The price of paper kept rising last week, with OCC up by £12 on the week before.

Mixed paper increased even more by £15 per tonne.

In the metals recycling sector, copper increased by £150 per tonne, as were aluminium grades and brass increased by £100 per tonne.

Ferrous grades also saw an increase with another £10 per tonne added.

There was no change for plastics grades.
