These are the latest HMRC export figures for February 2023 for key paper and cardboard grades. Only destinations of more than 1,000 tonnes per month are included.

Overall, February was weaker than January with 222,346 tonnes exported, compared to 273,556 tonnes in the first month of the year.
However, it was still the second strongest month since 2019.
Exports to non-EU destinations were responsible for 92% of the total, compared to 8% for the EU. This was slightly weaker than in January when non-EU exports represented 93.7% of the market.
