Recycled polymer exports improved by a tiny amount in May with 21,372 tonnes leaving this country compared to 20,221 tonnes in April.
Turkey was the biggest market with 9,566 tonnes up from 7,129 tonnes the month before.
This was followed by the EU as a whole with 8,535 tonnes, lower than April’s 9,803 tonnes.
Exports to Poland increased to 3,223 tonnes in May compared to 3,132 tonnes a month earlier.
Spain was next best with 1,870 tonnes compared to 857 tonnes in April.
However, the Netherlands was lower with 1,137 tonnes in May down from 1,409 tonnes the month before.
Malaysia was the only other significant destination in May with 1,709 tonnes, which improved on April’s 1,396 tonnes.
