Enva increases range of recycled HIPS colours following investment

Following investment in its recycling facility, Enva has revealed that it is now able to add light and pastel colours to its range of recycled HIPS available for injection moulding and extrusion.

The WEEE recycler has typically provided white and grey HIPS for medical supplies, hygiene equipment and white goods manufacturers.

But it can now create light and pastel colours, or alternatively darker pigments can be added during the extrusion process to produce horticultural and construction products.

Enva plastics general manager Steve Bell said: “Many people don’t consider being able to specify a bespoke colour for repro products, but continued technological innovation now makes this a very real possibility. As a result, manufacturers are able to benefit from all the environmental and commercial benefits of recycled polymers while retaining product quality.”
